BGE Inc is looking for a CADD Detailer / Modeler / Designer to provide CADD detailing and modeling support for the plan production of structures for heavy highway and rail structures for its Transportation Systems group.
Additional support for public works types of projects.

Job Responsibilities
Work with structural engineering team to develop sets of plans for bridges, publics works structures, and other structures.
These include, but are not limited to :
- Bridge layouts
- Steel plate girder details
- Prestressed concrete details
- Foundation plans
- Rebar detailing
- Deck plans
- Culvert / drainage structures
- Retaining walls
- Create sheets from various roadway and structural 3D models
- Provide technical support to structural design teams
- Work with structural engineering team to develop 3D models in Open Roads Designer / Open Roads Designer
- Application of basic techniques, precepts and detailing practices in development of structural engineering plans
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- 2 or more years of experience working with CADD software and 3D modeling software used in structural engineering
- Experience with AutoCADD, Civil3D, Microstation, PowerGeopak, Open Roads Designer, and Open Bridge Modeler is a plus
- Experience with Production / Task Management to include quality control, documentation management, and consistency in meeting deadlines
- TxDOT or other DOT experience is a plus
