Do you have experience in removal cases in the US?
Are you underpaid in your current position?
Are you more productive than your co-workers and wish you were recognized for it?
Do you want to work in a tech and process-driven company?
If the following statements below appeal to you, you may be our next Paralegal!
- You agree that The devil is in the details, so you ensure no stone is unturned
- You manage your time as well as your wallet
- You are very good with calendars, e-mail, and Google Drive / Docs. You have a basic understanding of task management, CRMs, and web-based apps
- You are an awesome juggler of tasks and can change gears quickly
- C1 English proficiency (Read / Written / Listening)
The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative and complete tasks by following video and written instructions. Questions are encouraged, but there won’t be extensive hand-holding.
This is a full-time job where you are expected to manage a caseload, so you absolutely must be able to work remotely for 40 hours per week with occasional overtime.
That said, you’ll be compensated based on results, not hours you’re clocked in. We expect you to earn at least $3,000 / month by your second month with us, but we hope you earn more as you become more efficient.
Note the word earn. We pay for results and do so eagerly and generously. You can earn substantially above the market rate here, as long as you have the results to warrant it.
We believe in providing our staff with opportunities to grow. Examples of things we’ve paid for are classes in languages, paralegal studies, declaration writing, staff management, project management, and advanced topics in immigration law.
We love working with go-getters and providing them with opportunities to go get stuff : )
If this all sounds exciting to you, keep reading. If you’re hesitant, that’s ok. There’s another position out there that’s a great fit for you.
If the idea of being in control of your compensation, being rewarded for being a top-performer, and having the opportunity to grow your skills is something you are looking for, please send us your resume with some information required in the body of the email.
The body of the email should have a max of a 300-word count. In the first paragraph, explain what you believe are the 3 most important qualities needed in someone who works with people in removal proceedings and why.
In the second paragraph, explain why you applied to this particular job. As a closing sentence please write, I have read the instructions contained in the job posting and have followed the instructions.
