Job Description
We are seeking a Temporary Development Associate to join our customer's team at a non-profit organization in Sun Valley, CA.
This role is essential to their fundraising and development efforts, working closely with donors and members to support the organization's mission.
The assignment will last through mid-October, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and development strategies.
- Engage with donors, members, and supporters to foster relationships and maintain communication.
- Support the preparation of grant applications and fundraising proposals.
- Manage donor databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Assist with event planning and logistics for fundraising events.
- Provide administrative support to the development team as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or development within a non-profit organization.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in donor management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
