Position Overview :
MarketScale, the platform for B2B community engagement, is hiring a Senior Director, Business Development to spearhead our growth in Enterprise B2B Business Development.
This role is tailored for sales executives with over seven years' experience in developing new business partnerships with enterprise companies.
This is primarily a selling role, focusing on pitching top companies and securing new business.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and nurture new business partnerships with enterprise companies.
- Engage in proactive outreach, including cold calling, to develop new business relationships.
- Leverage MarketScale's comprehensive suite of content creation tools and platforms, including live broadcasts, webinars, and podcasts.
- Utilize best-in-class technology, including Salesforce CRM and Hubspot, to drive sales efforts.
- Enhance Thought Leadership status on platforms such as LinkedIn and participate in industry events, networking with industry leaders.
- Conduct in-person visits to potential clients as needed to close deals and build relationships.
Qualifications :
- 7+ years of enterprise B2B Sales and Business Development experience.
- High-energy, dynamic personality with a passion for driving growth and innovation.
- Proven track record in pitching top companies and securing enterprise sales.
- Undergraduate degree in a related field.
- Availability to travel, up to approximately 10 days per month.
- Expert CRM utilization, especially Salesforce.
- High-level business writing proficiency with strong enterprise business development vocabulary and best practices.
- Proficiency in content marketing and social selling, especially LinkedIn.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
