The Metrologist / Quality Technician will perform measurements and tests required to ensure that products fulfill all customer specifications and quality requirements.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct In-Process and Final Audit Inspections on Injection Mold components.
- Perform 1st article inspection.
- Perform and document product identification and traceability activities as required.
- Perform and document accurate mechanical and visual inspections.
- Responsible for incoming inspections.
- Act as internal auditor for ISO.
- Assure correct product labeling.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years Precision Quality and metrology experience in a precision machining, mold building environment.
- Experience with Precision metal working.
- CMM experience required, Zeiss a plus.
- ISO Auditor or ISO knowledge.
- ASQ certified, a plus.
- Hands-on team player.
- Experience with plastics or equivalent, a plus.
