Job Summary : Instructional Designers are responsible for educating and supporting end users with the use of CaroMont’s Electronic Medical Record.
Instructional Designers serve as the primary contact in the development and delivery for training for their designated application.
The Instructional Designer will develop and maintain course curriculum, training materials, and conduct classroom training.
Instructional Designers provide continued support through onsite, remote, and phone support. Instructional Designers are responsible for the building, testing, and maintaining of the training environment for their designated application(s) while providing on-going education.
Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree from recognized college or university; or associate degree with two years of relevant training experience;
or equivalent experience to include 2 years training experience and at least 2 years experience in healthcare setting. Up to date Epic Curriculum or Analyst certification in designated application and Training Environment Build certification preferred or obtained within 4 months of completing the Epic certification training courses.
This may require overnight travel. Healthcare experience in a clinical, administrative and / or financial department is preferred.
Candidates should possess good interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to plan and coordinate varied activities.
Must be proficient in working with technology and Microsoft Office Products to create teaching, learning and documentation materials.
Experience with adult education, instructional design curriculum delivery, excellent knowledge of English grammar and spelling for use in both verbal and written communication.
Ability to present in front of large groups of professionals and to develop creative solutions to complex problems.
