STS Construction Services is looking for an experienced residential estimator to join our residential estimating team. We specialize in remodels and new construction for residential and commercial properties.
We are committed to craftsmanship and having a team / family-oriented environment! What Does An Estimators Day Look Like?
Respond to leads and set up walkthroughs with potential clients Read / review project plans and assist with assembly of bid proposal Solicit subcontractor bids Perform quantity take-offs, double check sub-contractor takeoffs Analyze quotations and negotiate pricing from subcontractors & suppliers.
Communicate with architects and consultants to clarify scope of work, materials, and conflict resolution. Develop value engineering opportunities to present to the client and architect Assist in preparing requests for proposals Present proposals to potential customers Coordinate project hand-offs with Project Managers Qualifications : 5+ years of general construction experience 3+ years e xperience bidding on custom home ground up and / or remodel projects Experience With Estimating Software and Microsoft Office Suite Buildertend experience is a plus Valid Drivers License What We Offer : Salary Rate : $80-$100K DOE, Yearly Bonus Dependable employment with opportunities for advancement 2 weeks of PTO and Paid Holidays 100% covered medical,401K with employer match Company Laptop and Cell Phone Just as important as the benefits, you have to like where you work right?
