JobSummary :
The Brand Manager willserve as a key member of the sales team who contributes to thestrategic direction of the brands internal and externalrelationships.
This role contributes to volume profit and sharegrowth by driving distribution and availability across all accountchannels while developing and executing a net sales and marginstrategy at accounts focusing on the Yumi portfolio for the brandrepresented.
This individual must proactivelypartner / collaborate with internal Yumi personnel and Yumimanufacture resources that influence and help drive of theretailers plan while assisting with budget management to maximizeresults and return on investment.
Primary Responsibilities :
Analysis Responsible for ongoing analysis supporting brand and overallbusiness initiatives. Use brand industry internal and consumerinformation resources to identify business issues and opportunitiesand to develop strategic programming to achieve brand goals.
Provide timely and comprehensive analysis of objectives and futureplanning implications. Develop implications and programrecommendations.
ProjectManagement Lead and manage designated brandinitiatives. Develop objectives spearhead programs across multiplegroups develop and communicate all consumer and field materials andmanage agency .
Partner in all aspects of brand includingadvertising point of sale local programs national account meetingplanning and promotion development.
Consumer Expert Ability totake consumer insights and translate them into actionable consumerdriven marketing plans. Understand and communicate brands uniqueselling propositions to key stakeholders internal executive teamfield sales national / regional accounts retailers and consumers.
Ensure trademark consistency in all communications.
Business Planning andBudgeting Partner with manufactures in developmentand then communicate marketing plans. This includes consumerstrategy creative local program development and national salesmeeting presentations.
Coordinate with finance and manufactures toresearch and adjust inappropriate budget entries.
System Communication Communicate with the DSD field sales national / regional accounts andretailers to secure market approach manage inmarket activitiesresearch / report on local market conditions and implement programs.
RoutetoMarketEmphasis Gain a solid understanding of the direct tostore delivery system employed by Yumi to get our WorldClass brandsinto the retailers shelves with flawless .
Managing Work Effectively manages ones time and resourcesto ensure that work is completed efficiently.
Sales Negotiation Effectivelyexplores alternatives and positions to reach mutually beneficialsales agreements that gain customers acceptance and commitment.

WorkEnvironment :
This job operatesin a professional office environment. This role routinely usesstandard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiersfilling cabinets and fax machines.
When not in the officeenvironment this role will be out in the field at customer accountsin CStores Grocery Stores Hotels etc.
Subject to traffic hazardswhile operating personal vehicle.

Standing / Walking : Constantly while performingduties in customer locations; walking up to 12 miles per shift onconcrete or tiled surfaces.
Sitting : Occasionally (20%) while operating personal vehicle betweencustomer locations can be subject to heavy traffic.
Push / Pull : Occasionally using both hands and arms whilemoving materials via wheeled cart.
Bending / Twisting at waist.
Kneeling / Crouching.
Hands / Arms : Constant use of both hands / arms throughout the workday whileforward reaching handling gripping power grasping and fingering andabove shoulder reaching.
Sight / Hearing / Speech : Constantly required to ensure safe operation of vehicle andperforming essential functions at customer locations.
Lifting bending stretching standing reaching climbing isrequired on an ongoing basis.
Must be able tolift to 25 pounds with or without assistance.
Travel :
Must be able to travel in the marketplace meeting withcustomers.
Must be able to travel in the fieldwith the Territory Sales Managers and District Sales Managerstraining on the allied brands.
Must be able totravel in the marketplace with Directors and Brand Representatives.
Must be able to attend and fully participate insales and team meetings with the possibility of overnight stays.
MinimumRequirements :
3 years DSDconsumer products experience.
2 years nationalkey account experience.
2 years experienceusing IRI Nielsen or other syndicated data.
5years experience using MS Office products (PowerPoint and MicrosoftExcel).
Ability to understand and explainanalytical reports.
Ability to learn andunderstand data and its uses for assigned product line ofresponsibility.
Ability to read write andcommunicate in English as it relates to the job and to safetyregulations.
Must have a valid Class C DriversLicense with a dependable vehicle and proof of automobile insurancecoverage.
Successful completion of post offerbackground check MVR drug screen physical and physical abilitiestest.
Willing to work over 40 hours whenrequired.
Willing to work weekends and Holidaysif needed.
Ability to practice safe workinghabits.
Adhere to Company Dress Code (Novisible tattoos or body piercing).
