Duties
- Research case details, analyze evidence, and review client documentation and previously filed pleadings
- Interpret case law and judicial decisions to determine their impact on ongoing cases
- Draft defensive motions, including motions for protective orders and motions to quash
- Prepare pleadings, motions, legal memorandums, and settlement agreements
- Advocate diligently for clients' rights and interests throughout litigation
Requirements
- Licensed attorney in the State of Florida
- Minimum of two years' experience in commercial litigation, preferably with consumer finance or mortgage foreclosure experience
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively within a team setting
- High level of motivation and ability to work independently
- Professional demeanor and business acumen
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications
Licensed Attorney in Florida (admission to additional states is a plus)
