VadaTech is a world leader in the design and manufacture of embedded computing solutions. We are currently seeking AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) X-ray Technicians.

This role is responsible for operating AOI and x-ray / SMT equipment while collecting and reporting raw data of AOI / X-ray operations.

Essential Functions :

Responsible for the operation of :

• AOI machine including setting up inspection profiles
• X-ray equipment
• Selective solder machine
• Aqueous washer and stencil cleaner

Requirements

• Prior experience of at least 2 years of operating SMT equipment such as AOI, X-ray, selective solder, aqueous washer and stencil cleaner.
• Understanding of electronic component types and packaging (i.e. BGA, SOICS, RES / CAP packages etc.)
• Ability to read and understand engineering assembly document such as BOM's, assembly drawings, engineering change orders, quality process documents
• Interpret engineering drawings and documentation
• Computer literate and ability to communicate in the English language both written and oral.
