Job description At The Learning Experience, We have designed a curriculum around the six stages of development and built a foundation for all kids to learn, play, and grow in our state-of-the-art facilities under the care of nurturing teachers and staff.
We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated, creative, and positive person to join our team. Our hours of operation are from 6 : 30 am to 6 : 30 pm.
We are looking to hire a full-time Toddler Teacher for our center. In this position, you will be working with children from 1 year of age to 2 years old.
In this position, you will be responsible for :
- Working with children on art, sign language, helping them express themselves, leading story time, etc.
- Be positive, energetic, and upbeat with the children as you guide them through the day.
- Providing feedback to the parents about their child's day.
- Being a creative teacher, who enjoys working with young children!
Skills, Education, and Experience
- Previous experience teaching and working with children in any setting
- A great personality
- Good work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
- Preferred Two- year degree (in a child related field) or higher / Has EDU 119
- Preferred CPR & First Aid Certification
- Qualifying Criminal Background Check Letter from North Carolina DCDEE
- Preferred ITS / SIDS Training Certification
- Able to interact with Students of all ages and development levels.
Job Type : Full-time
Salary : $13.50 - $17.00 per hour
