We are seeking a qualified DME Specialist to join our DME team. Core responsibilities include :
- Assist with insurance verification / authorization for the DME department when necessary
- Assist with fitting and applying braces, crutches, and other orthopedic soft goods
- Maintain / oversee clean and well-stocked DME inventory areas in various office locations
- Creates a positive patient experience by being polite, compassionate, and professional
- Other duties as assigned by management
Required Skills & Experience
- Candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Medical Insurance Guidelines and requirements
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent customer service skills minimum 2 years
- Travel to all locations
- DME experience preferred but not required
- Medical office background experience preferred
- Multi-tasker
- Candidate should be familiar with EMR / Electronic Health / Medical Record Systems
