Care at Home by JFS -
Positions Available : 9 - Urgently Hiring
Position Details : We are seeking compassionate and experienced caregivers with a vehicle to provide daytime care, Monday to Friday.
Each session lasts 1 to 4 hours, and caregivers may see 2 to 6 clients per day. Mileage between client visits is compensated.
Ideal Candidate :
- Warm and patient personality
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience in home care
- Ability to provide engaging and safe care
Requirements :
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Available for 1-4 hour shifts, mornings and evenings
- Must have a clean vehicle, driver’s license, and insurance
- Minimum of 4 years of home care experience
- Self-directed and independent
- Alzheimer’s / Dementia experience is a plus
Responsibilities :
- Driving clients to appointments
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, and personal care
- Helping with transfers, mobility, and repositioning
- Providing oral, hair, skin, and nail care
- Incontinence care and toileting
- Assisting with feeding and PT exercises
- Offering socialization, engagement, and support
- Meal preparation and cooking
- Medication reminders
- Client laundry and light housekeeping
- Running errands and grocery shopping
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
