Job Title : Estimating Coordinator

Location : Putnam County, NY

We are seeking a dedicated Estimating Coordinator to join our team. This role will support the Director of Estimating and collaborate with Sales, Production, and Project Management to deliver high-quality, timely projects to our clients.

The Estimating Coordinator will be responsible for completing requests for quotations (RFQs) and providing expertise in cost analysis and production planning.

Key Responsibilities :

• Partner with the Director of Estimating to complete RFQs with a focus on service excellence and cost-saving opportunities.
• Evaluate production methods, source and quantify costs, determine pricing, and deliver accurate quotations that meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Analyze specifications from the Sales Team, offering cost-saving suggestions through value engineering and alternative materials.
• Provide support to the Sales Team regarding production timelines and project details.
• Work with vendors to confirm product specifications, ensure quality standards, and explore cost-saving options.
• Verify the accuracy of vendor quotations and make necessary adjustments for specification changes requested by clients.
• Research alternative materials and substrates to drive innovation, reduce costs, and maintain business continuity.
• Present quotations in a detailed and organized format for review by the Sales Team.
• Contribute to maintaining and improving Estimating Standard Procedures.
• Use print production knowledge to guide the Sales Team and advise clients on best practices.
• Participate in Job Cost Analysis Meetings to monitor project financials.
• Attend press checks at vendor locations as needed to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist with sourcing and evaluating new vendors for future projects.
• Provide insights on the latest innovations in scent marketing.
• Support the Purchasing Team when needed.

Qualifications :

• Extensive knowledge of printing and manufacturing processes, with preferred experience in flexographic and offset printing.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client requirements.
• Open-mindedness to learning new technologies, processes, and industry innovations.
