Job Title : General Laborer Location : Sarasota / Bradenton, FL Responsibilities :

- Maintain a clean, secure, and productive environment by collaborating with facility staff Requirements :
- Residency in Sarasota / Bradenton area, South Florida Work Schedule :
- Full-Time position, Monday to Friday with occasional weekends Benefits :

Compensation : $16 - $18 hourly

Responsibilities :
- Safely and effectively execute general labor tasks at a hauling company, transfer station, recycling center, or landfill in Sarasota / Bradenton, FL.
- Responsibilities entail yard maintenance, equipment sanitation, landscaping, and the operation of site machinery such as blowers and pressure washers.
- Perform general upkeep of the office, repairs, painting, and cleaning duties, in addition to any other job-specific tasks assigned.
- Availability to work overtime, flexible shifts, and actively engage in enhancing workplace safety and health.
- Preferred experience in a landfill, transfer station, or waste management field.
- Capable of repeatedly lifting 50lbs, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and collaborating well in both independent and team settings.
- Completion of mandatory safety, operational, and other training within the designated timeframe.
- Possess effective communication skills and demonstrated technical proficiency to carry out routine tasks safely.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Qualifications :
- To be considered for the General Laborer position in Sarasota, FL, US, a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent qualification is required.
- The candidate must have a minimum of 6 months of related experience in an industrial environment.
