Overview
The Consumer Marketing Intern assists with departmental tasks, ad-hoc requests, and is actively involved with unit or organization-wide projects.
The Intern work closely with NCH staff and leaders to develop marketing plans, manage projects, write, edit and provide event, video and campaign support.
Hours : Hours can vary week to week. Hours are flexible. This will be a 10-12 month internship

Responsibilities
- Attends meetings and sends meeting notes.
- Develops and implements marketing plans and coordinates approvals.
- Updates existing marketing materials and creates new materials
- Conducts interviews, then compiles and edits materials.
- Interacts with various leaders and teams essential to collaborate with to complete projects and tasks.
Note : Regular, reliable, and consistent attendance is an essential job function. Employees are expected to perform work as scheduled.

Qualifications
Education Requirement :
- High school graduate, required.
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate accredited university. 3.4 accumulative GPA, required.
- Rising junior or senior actively pursuing degree in marketing, communications, integrated marketing, mass media, media relations, advertising, creative writing or hospital administration, preferred.
Skills :
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software.
- Strong written and oral communications.
- Ability to work within teams and maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment that often requires management and completion of multiple tasks.
- Displays a positive presence and interacts with all levels of staff, outside vendors, consultants, and physicians. Experience : Previous work experience, preferred.
