- Diagnoses, repairs, and rebuilds Surfacing, Finishing and AR Coating equipment
- Performs scheduled maintenance on laboratory equipment
- Disassemble, clean, and rebuild specialized laboratory machinery
- Performs online equipment repairs Perform machinery preventive maintenance activities as prescribed by the manufacturer
- Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as needed Maintain equipment maintenance records
- Assist with a variety of facility and departmental process improvement projects
- Troubleshoot a wide variety of computer-controlled automation equipment
- Perform building infrastructure maintenance tasks including light plumbing, painting, and general facility upkeep
- Two to four years of experience in factory equipment maintenance
- Demonstrated experience and familiarity with fluid power, mechanical, and thermal system experience
- Experience in trouble-shooting electrical, electronic and motor control systems, including the use of electrical diagnostic equipment and ability to read system schematics and drawings
- General understanding of process quality control and Total Productive Maintenance practices
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot automation control computers, PLCs and networks
- Familiarity with office computer systems hardware and software, including MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting with a Customer-Centric ethic
- Familiarity with safety and health requirements relating to maintenance activities
- Experience with Lockout / Tagout procedures
- Ability to read and write at a level necessary to accomplish the above tasks
- Good manual dexterity and hand / eye coordination
