As an Income Guarantee Accountant , you will perform internal audits of physician recruitment and employment agreements to ensure contract administration is accurate and compliant.

You will assist with the preparation of monthly reimbursement packages for recruited physicians and contract setups. You will also assist with special projects as they pertain to recruitment and employment agreements.

Excellent written and communication skills are a must.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role :

• Maintain the documentation (including all communication and notes) surrounding each active physician record assigned
• Prepare monthly expense reimbursement packages, as well as one-time payment expense packages, for active assigned physicians
• Conduct a thorough review of contractual terms with assigned physicians (prior to administration of any payments) to ensure understanding of the reimbursement process
• Assist assigned physicians (and practices), as needed with financial information requests and questions
• Perform final review summaries for all assigned physicians
• Ensure that all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved.
• Respond to requests for information from Senior Audit staff and other internal management.

What you should have for this role :

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or other business related field
• Two years of progressive accounting experience; preferably in a physician practice management or healthcare-related environment.
• Strong communication skills - written and verbal
