Summary :
The Financial Analyst II will be responsible for providingsupport to CHRISTUS facilities, functional corporate groups, seniorleadership, and other affiliates through the design andimplementation of Enterprise wide and regional Revenue Cycle dataanalysis and reporting.
The primary function involves synthesizingdata from multiple sources into clear, meaningful analysis. Thisinvolves assisting in identifying opportunities and supportingefforts related to the standardization of management reporting,benchmarking and data collection necessary to support both.
Additional responsibilities include assisting in identifying,quantifying and prioritizing opportunities to improve net revenuerealization and cash flow at the system level, the facility leveland at a Payor level as well as development of financial models andother analysis related to the development and implementation ofsolutions in revenue cycle areas.
Responsibilities :
- Supports and manages existing capabilitiesrelated to the standardization and consolidation ofdaily / weekly / monthly reporting revenue cyclereporting
- Assist in the standardization of goalsetting and productivity and performancemonitoring
- Collects, synthesizes andcommunicates relevant information through the system to supportstrategies
- Facilitates development andimplementation plans to enable the effective benchmarking andcomparative reporting of key revenue cyclemetrics
- Performs financial opportunityassessments for hospitals to identify opportunities to improverevenue cycle performance
- Supports strategicplan to focus efforts and resources on high priority areas toimprove cash flow and net revenue realization throughout thesystem
- Assists in development of plans toimplement strategies and measure the results of the implementedstrategies
- Serves business units throughanalysis of how the value of initiatives and services can beoptimized across the system
- Assists in creatingand monitoring models that link strategies to measures ofperformance (financial and non-financial) that ensure successfulimplementation
- Provides analysis capabilities,information and tools to operations to enhance skills in detectingboth current and future performanceissues
- Cultivates internal relationships at thecorporate and facility level to gain support and participation ininitiatives
- Cultivates external relationshipsto gain new knowledge and competencies
- Conformswith and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, andinstructions
- Utilizes strong computing abilityto balance multiple tasks
- Functions as acontributing and effective member of theteam
- Analyzes and prepare special projects asneeded
- Other duties asassigned
