HYBRID Option Available (Will be required to report on-site and train on-site)The Neuromuscular Program in the Department of Neurology at the University of Miami has an exciting opportunity for a full-time or part-time statistical programmer to join an active clinical and translational research group focused on therapy development for Lou Gehrig’s disease (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS).

The statistical programmer will be an integral member of the research team and provide programming support for the cleaning, summarizing / reporting, and analysis of research data.

The statistical programmer will work most closely with the biostatistician and data managers.Develop and implement strategies for real-time data QCConduct routine data checks to ensure data integrity and completenessWrite SAS macros and programs for data cleaning, reporting (e.

g. tables, listings, figures), and the creation of analysis datasetsAssist in the design and implementation of procedures (e.
