SALARY : $20.48 per hour

The Senior Production Team Leader helps ensure production and warehouse schedules are followed and all departmental Key Performance Indicators attained.

This position coordinates workflow between production control, labeling, warehouse, production, and shipping.

Available Shift : Monday - Thursday 7 : 00am - 5 : 30pm (10-hour shifts)

You will be responsible for...

Coordinate with Production Control, Warehouse, Production, and Shipping to carry out the production schedule.

Coordinate with Scheduling and Warehouse to align workflow.

Coordinate labeling with warehouse to align workflow.

Responsible for departmental planning and KPI attainment.

Responsible for reporting out departmental KPIs.

Ensure production processes and procedures are followed; assist employees with work process problems.

Ensure warehouse processes and procedures are followed; assist employees with work process problems.

Ensure physical inventory, tools and supplies are organized; uphold all departmental cleaning; contribute to production area maintenance as required.

Examine work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.

Manage and update department processes; study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers.

Ensure all safety measures / procedures are followed by all shipping department employees; wear proper safety equipment.

Follow ISO / TL9000 requirements as it pertains to position.

Qualifications

High school diploma, or GED

Minimum 1-year supply chain experience or related field is preferred.

Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Computer proficiencies of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Must be able to read and write in English, bilingual a plus.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Problem solving skills; able to analyze situations, including ability to spot issues in efficiency / productivity and suggest improvements.

Demonstrated ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.

Able to communicate well with others.

Able to count and recognize product.

Able to work in a team environment.

Able to execute responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Effectively train and coach employees.

Can work well under pressure and ability to operate successfully in a very fast paced working environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position works in a warehouse / distribution center setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.

The noise level in the work environment and can be loud. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms;

and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and maneuver around pallets.

The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and / or move objects more than 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Must be able to climb a ladder and retrieve stock.
