We are looking for a talented Financial Accounting Manager with a good background in financial statement preparation, Federal & State Tax Filing, and supervising experience.

Job Details
Job Responsibilities :
Supervise Accounting personnel. Includes mentoring; staff development; defining essential job functions, responsibilities, and skills;
managing productivity, and scheduling.
- Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of financial data including month end closing, monthly account reconciliations, revenue audits, A / P ledger, G / L postings, fixed assets, etc.
- Responsible for preparation of financials statements and reports and / or assist Director of Finance, as required.
- Responsible for Payroll process and procedures and will be cross trained to support Payroll function.
- Responsible for periodic Federal and State tax filings including : Forms 941, W2-G, 1042-S, 945, W-2 and 1099.
- Responsible for supervising accuracy and timeliness of Title 31 Compliance.
- Ensures the quality of operations in all areas of the Accounting Department.
- Responsible for verifying all gaming and financial audits.
- Liaison for outside gaming and financial auditors.
- Establishes and implements Department policies and procedures.
- Review daily financial reports to certify accuracy.
- Committed to providing outstanding Customer Service to internal and external customers.
- Responsible for managing and supervising the Soft Count Department.
- Other finance and accounting related responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred. Gaming experience is a plus.
- 5+ of accounting work experience required.
- Previous Supervisory experience required.
- Must possess excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational and analytical skills.
- Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with accounting and payroll software : Experience with Kronos and Microsoft Navision a plus.
- Experience with POS, Slot systems, etc. for revenue auditing reporting.
- Must have excellent computer skills with proficiency required with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
- Ability to identify problems and formulate solutions.
- Ability to work in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment.
License Requirement :
Class III Gaming License
