Good customer relationship management skills as well as persistence are the keys to your success. Good organizational skills for follow up will be crucial.

Typical duties and responsibilities

  • Cold Call Insurance Agency Principal or Administrator
  • Track your contact list provided by company
  • Explain products and services to customer
  • Keep track of potential customers who no longer want contacted
  • Hand off qualified customers to sales representative
  • Meet your goals set forth by company

Education and experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in Sales, customer service, or a related field

Required skills and qualifications

  • Friendly, outgoing personality
  • Ability to deal with rejection
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer and data entry skills
  • High level of personal accountability
  • Well organized
  • Dependable

Preferred qualifications :

  • 1-2 years or more of experience as a cold caller, retail sales or other customer service jobs
  • The ability to problem solve and think both dynamically as well as critically
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure both supervised and unsupervised
