As Senior Director, Database Technical Program Management, in the Database Organization, you will lead teams and apply your extensive knowledge of database / application migrations to the cloud.

You will be responsible for migrating internal OnPremise applications to Autonomous Database as well as specific existing services in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to the Autonomous Database.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred

12+ years of experience in management, with a focus on leading technical teams in a cloud technology or problem management environment

Must have previous experience in communicating in executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to collaborate and problem-solve across matrixed organizations

Experienced in multi-country resource & organization management

Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality results with a keen attention to detail

Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically

Good understanding of cloud technologies and experience with problem management principles

Responsibilities

Manage people for product development programs or projects involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a product or computer-based system through the design process, and into a finished state.

Plan and direct resource schedules as well as project budgets.

Monitor the product / program / project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on technical matters.

Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the product / program / project on schedule and within budget constraints.

Coordinate work of Database Administrators, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Development Operations Security, Application Owners as well as program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

US : Hiring Range : from $156,700 to $338,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off : Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.

Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave : 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
