Leasing Agent

All candidates must hold a valid NY real estate license; unlicensed applicants will not be considered.

Our top-performing rental team is looking for an additional agent. This is a fast-paced, supportive environment ideal for driven agents aiming for a six-figure income.

Compensation :

$135,000 commission based at plan earnings

Responsibilities :

• Present properties and provided amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants to help secure rental agreement
• Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and close the deal
• Prepare for market changes by researching local rates and calculating costs to ensure competitive and fair pricing
• Become acquainted with client expectations of housing and finances and highlight properties that meet those expectations
• Complete property inspections and any required maintenance in accordance with our standards
• Conduct property showings for potential tenants and provide detailed information about available rental units.
• Negotiate lease terms and contracts with prospective tenants in alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
• Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting property inspections and handling security deposit refunds.
• Utilize marketing strategies to attract new tenants and maintain high occupancy rates for rental properties.
• Stay updated on local rental market trends and competitor activities to recommend competitive rental prices and identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications :

• Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel and Publisher
• Proven track of successful sales record
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations
• To qualify, you must agree to a commission-only compensation package
• 2+ years of experience in real estate industry
• Active Real Estate License
• Demonstrated leasing experience
• Authorization to work in the US
• Proficiency in marketing and lead generation
