JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of content.
- Write and edit technical documentation including user manuals, work instruction, API documentation, release notes, and other support materials.
- Organize and maintain documentation repositories to ensure easy access and version control.
- Conduct research and gather information from various sources to accurately document technical processes and procedures.
- Work closely with product teams to understand product features and functionalities, and translate technical specifications into user-friendly documentation.
- Continuously improve documentation standards, processes, and templates to enhance overall quality and usability.
- Prepare charts, graphs, or forms to incorporate into documentation.
- Ensure fields flow in the correct sequence.
- Create table of contents and cite sources.
- Work with subject matter experts and managers for feedback and approval.
- Provide updates and different editions as necessary.
- Edit and update legacy documentation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor"s degree or higher
- 10+ years" experience in industry; 5+ years as a technical writer
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and version control systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience within the post / parcel, E-Commerce or Automated Machinery / equipment.
- Experience with creating clear and concise technical documentation for products and services
