The Chemistry Department accepts applications on an ongoing basis from individuals interested in assignments teaching part-time for the undergraduate chemistry program.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide instruction in a full range of Chemistry courses including, but not limited to : Introduction to Chemistry, General Chemistry, Topics in Modern Chemistry, Energy Issues, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, and associated laboratories.
Further information regarding the department curriculum and its faculty may be obtained from the departmental website at : Required Qualifications Adjunct faculty candidates must have a Master’s degree in Chemistry or related field from a regionally-accredited institution with at least two (2) years of teaching experience at the collegiate-level.
Doctorate Degree in Chemistry or related field from a regionally-accredited institution.
The Equivalent. Certain combinations of education, experience, and other accomplishments in the field may be judged as equal to the stated minimum qualifications for this position.
Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching.
