Location : Roseville, MI

A Caregiver provides for the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. Performs various housekeeping tasks, meal preparation and companionship activities for clients in their residences.

Pay Range : $10.50 - $13.00 / hr

Training and Ongoing Education Opportunities

Right at Home offers dynamic educational opportunities to promote the success of our caregivers. Education begins with orientation, continues with regular in-services, a skills lab and special programs.

Education also continues in the client’s home during Supervisor Visits. Nurses are available for just-in-time caregiver education as client care needs change.

RAH will also assist Caregivers to maintain their educational requirements for CNA renewal.

Essential Functions

• Performs homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to) :
• vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Plan menus and may shop for groceries.
• Run errands for or with clients.
• Provides companionship for the client.
• This includes accompanying client on walks, trips to social / recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, etc.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Three years of experience as a Caregiver / Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile
