Essential Duties for Fire Sprinkler Service Technician :
- Submitting all reports and relevant paperwork in a timely manner.
- Perform Fire Sprinkler inspections, service, repairs, and minor tenant improvement tasks.
- Carry out backflow testing, and repairs.
- Service, test, and replace Fire Extinguishers.
- Manage a 40-hour workweek, with rotational on-call duty for emergency service
- Daily communications with the Project Manager and / or Schedule Coordinator on inspection or project delays, requirements, and general status of jobs.
Requirements for Fire Sprinkler Service Technician :
- Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter card preferred
- Willingness to work occasional night shifts, weekends, and alternative hours to meet the needs of the customer.
- Fire Sprinkler installation and repair experience is required.
- Backflow testing certification OR / WA is preferred.
- Portland Fire Extinguisher Certification is preferred.
- Active Driver License.
- Adequate communication skills and a personable demeanor.
- Portland and Washington Fitter Card Preferred.
- Familiar with NFPA 25, NFPA 13 / 13D / 13R.
- Have a growth mindset and obtain certifications in a timely manner
