Position Overview : We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Director of Lipidomics to lead their lipidomics research team.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in lipidomics methodologies, a strong track record of scientific innovation, and proven leadership skills to drive the development of transformative lipid-based therapies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Strategic Leadership : Provide strategic direction for the lipidomics research program, aligning with the company's overall scientific and business objectives.
• Team Management : Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of talented scientists and researchers to drive excellence in lipidomics research.
• Research and Development : Oversee the design, execution, and interpretation of lipidomics studies to elucidate disease mechanisms, identify biomarkers, and validate therapeutic targets.
• Collaboration : Foster collaborations with internal and external stakeholders, including academic partners, contract research organizations, and industry collaborators, to advance lipidomics research and development initiatives.
• Technology Evaluation : Stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in lipidomics and evaluate their potential applications to enhance research capabilities and accelerate therapeutic discovery.
• Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all lipidomics research activities, including data management, documentation, and reporting.
• Communication and Presentation : Effectively communicate scientific findings, strategies, and progress to senior management, stakeholders, and external audiences through presentations, publications, and conference participation.
• Budget and Resource Management : Manage the lipidomics research budget and resources efficiently to optimize productivity and deliver results in a timely manner.

Qualifications :

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, pharmacology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience (minimum 5-10 years) in lipidomics research, with a focus on lipid metabolism, lipid signaling, and lipid-related diseases.
• Proven track record of scientific innovation, evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals and contributions to the field of lipidomics.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with previous experience leading multidisciplinary research teams in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting.
• Expertise in a wide range of lipidomics methodologies, including mass spectrometry, chromatography, lipid extraction techniques, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve scientific and business objectives.
• Experience in drug discovery and development, particularly in lipid-based therapeutics, is desirable but not essential.
