Product Release Manager

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Release Manager to oversee the successful launch of our products.

This role involves coordinating with various teams to ensure all aspects of the release are executed smoothly, including marketing alignment, sales and technical training, competitive analysis, cross-regional handover processes, and collaboration with our TRC team on key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Release Coordination :
• Work closely with the marketing team to review and align on new features, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for upcoming product releases.
• Ensure all product release materials, including documentation, are complete and ready for distribution.
• Collaborate with the product management and engineering teams to track release timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Work with Marketing and develop videos and documentation collateral for all major and minor releases prior to GA.
• Work with SE and TAM teams to develop use cases for planned releases.
• Training and Enablement :
• Coordinate with Sales, Sales Engineering (SE), and Technical Account Management (TAM) teams to ensure they are fully trained on new product features and updates.
• Develop and deliver training materials, including presentations, webinars, and product demos, to equip teams with the knowledge needed to effectively sell and support the product.
• Coordinate with Sales and Marketing to schedule customer webinars, and work with Solutions Engineers to develop use cases for feature releases.
• Update the Academy content to reflect the latest UI.
• Competitive Analysis :
• Conduct thorough competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the market.
• Provide insights to the sales and marketing teams to help position the product against competitors.
• Keep track of industry trends and competitor releases to ensure the product remains competitive and relevant.
• Cross-Regional Handover :
• Manage the handover process from the India team to the US team, ensuring all necessary information, documentation, and tasks are clearly communicated.
• Facilitate regular meetings between regional teams to address any outstanding issues and ensure alignment on release goals and milestones.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all cross-regional communication regarding product releases.
• TRC Team Coordination :
• Work closely with the Threat Research and Content (TRC) team to coordinate and implement initiatives that support product releases.
• Ensure that the TRC team's contributions are integrated into the product release process and aligned with overall release goals.
• Post-Release Review :
• Conduct post-release assessments to gather feedback, measure the success of the release, and identify areas for improvement.
• Report on the performance of the release and provide recommendations for future releases.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in product management, release management, or a similar role.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and manage deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
• Experience with competitive analysis and market research.
• Ability to work across time zones and manage cross-regional handovers effectively.
• Familiarity with product development processes and software release cycles is a plus.
• Proficiency with Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence), Scribehow and Guidde documentation generators is a must.
