Your impact as an Associate Broker
The primary function is to assist Brokers on assigned accounts, handling key processes that serve middle market clients and undertaking the client-facing and internal activities related to these processes within defined deadlines.
Job Responsibilities :
- Gathers and analyzes data on exposures, loss history and standard and unique coverage needs for international / global renewal strategy documents, submissions, and proposals.
- Identifies and analyzes client exposures and determines which markets to use, ensuring detailed evaluation of qualified companies in the marketplace.
- Compiles and analyzes data and drafts assigned elements of client service plans, stewardship reports and other presentations tailored to the needs of the audience and the circumstances of the presentation.
- Accountable for routine support activities to brokers and senior brokers with defined deadlines.
- May facilitate and / or participate in client / broker strategy meetings.
- May send requests for quotations to the insurance carriers with opportunities to negotiate programs.
- Monitors and follows-up on invoice generation, local policy issuance, and premium collection within defined deadlines.
- Handles client open items lists and responds to client ad-hoc requests and questions within ability / knowledge.
- Liaises with Aon network offices on global program coordination activities.
- Maintains effective and productive relationships internally and externally.
- Assists with the processing of policy and related documents.
- Provides support to the account management process, when appropriate.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Thorough knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance marketplace including products and services.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision.
- Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven ability to prioritize competing requirements and deadlines under pressure.
- A passion for teamwork and enjoys supporting others.
- Comfortable learning new systems and having a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Must maintain an active Property and Casualty insurance license, or be able to acquire one within the first 90 days of employment.
Education :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $61,400 - $81,800 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
