Duties and Responsibilities
Basic duties of the Industrial / Commercial Electrician include maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading all types of electrical / mechanical equipment, which include motors, drives, gear box, motor control centers, controls, PLC, and instruments.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper function.
- Ability to troubleshoot a verity of pumps and gear boxes.
- Ability to rebuild a variety of pumps and gear boxes.
Skills / Qualifications
- 3 plus years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- A strong emphasis on safety practices.
- Knowledge of control and automation systems.
- PLC system troubleshooting experience.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems.
- Extensive experience with AC and DC motors and drives
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environments.
