The Role :
You will build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with key fertility clinics across the US and Canada and support patient escalations when issues arise.
You will be responsible for managing relationships, negotiating rates, and identifying strategic opportunities with our fertility clinic partners to add value for our members.
The Provider Partnerships Manager supports our members and works across the Carrot organization to minimize the cost of treatment, improve access to care, and deliver an excellent patient experience.
If an issue with a partner arises, you jump in to solve it. If Carrot discovers a network gap, you build the relationships necessary to fill it.
In this role, you will have a chance to work with partners from across the US and Canada and will have the ability to adjust your partnership approach to the unique needs of each market.
The Team :
The Provider Partnerships Team sits within the Strategy team, which is part of Carrot’s Product Team. The Provider Partnerships Team is responsible for developing Carrot’s network strategy and for building and maintaining partnerships that maximize value across 4 pillars : quality, affordability, access, and member experience.
Minimum Qualifications :
1-3 years of partnerships management experience as an individual contributor (this could be in a sales role, partnerships role, or any environment where there are both relationship building and profitability components).
Ideally, you have experience with both establishing new partnerships and managing existing partnerships.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills. You thrive writing emails, leading Zoom calls, negotiating deals, articulating value, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- You love to negotiate and are able to manage difficult conversations while being thoughtful, resourceful, collaborative, and member-focused.
- You are data-driven, detail-oriented and motivated to produce quantifiable results.
- You have some prior experience using a CRM system (like Salesforce or Airtable) to track partnerships progress and manage partnership details
- You have strong aptitude and familiarity with Google Sheets, Google Docs, Zoom, KeyNote, Jira, and the ability to quickly learn and ramp up on any other tools and systems you might need for your role
- You are a self-starter, a problem solver, and a person who looks around corners to bring forward solutions to issues before they arise.
- You thrive in a remote work environment and know how to make the most of in-person opportunities (i.e. conferences, team off-sites)
Preferred Qualifications :
- Ideally, you have a deep understanding of the fertility industry from years of experience working either at a fertility clinic or in another industry role.
- Ideally, you have been in scrappy, start-up environments before and have learned the ability to prioritize what’s most important, especially when there are competing priorities
- Ideally, you share a passion for Carrot’s mission : Fertility care for all.
Compensation :
Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package.
The starting base salary for this position will range from $95,000-$110,000. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
