Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
Position : Adjunct Lecturer, Asia Business Programs
Department : International Programs and Services (IPS), Goodwin College of Business
Classification : Part-time, Non-benefit eligible
Location : China / Vietnam
Modality : Ground, Online Synchronous, Online Asynchronous
Brief overview of duties : International Programs and Services iscurrently seeking adjunct instructors to teach MBA and Master of Sciencein Management Information Science (MSMIS) programs and undergraduate- levelbusiness program and programs at our partner universities location throughoutChina and Vietnam.
Undergraduate courses are taught over a three-week time-framewith daily classes, and graduate courses are taught in 2 weekend formats.
Quality teaching and strong business working experience are the top priorities.
RequiredQualifications :
Graduate-level programs : , , or otherterminal doctoral degrees (excluding graduate teaching experience) in areassuch as finance, accounting, management, economics, information technology,engineering and related fields.
Undergraduate-level programs : MBA with 3+ years’ relevant industry workingexperience(excluding teaching experience)in Management, Marketing, SupplyChain, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Entrepreneurship andrelated fields.
Experience in Learning Management Systems : Desire 2 Learn (D2L) is desired aswell as an Enterprise Software System (like PeopleSoft).
Demonstrate intercultural competence and commitment to working withinternational students, adult learners and underserved student populations.
Experience in an international setting preferred.
Ability to fly on transpacific flights between US and Asia
Additional Information : Courses are offered on campus in our partner universities either in China orVietnam. Positions are available contingent upon enrollment, funding anddepartmental needs.
This is a non-tenure-track, part-time, faculty position.
