E-Commerce Manager Amazon

As the E-Commerce Manager for Mexilink Inc., your primary focus would be on overseeing and driving the company's e-commerce operations, specifically within the Amazon platform.

You would lead efforts to maximize online revenue, improve customer experience, and achieve business objectives on Amazon.

Reporting directly to the E-Commerce Director, you would be responsible for developing and implementing strategies tailored to Amazon's marketplace, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, and effectively executing online initiatives targeted at Amazon's e-commerce ecosystem.

Your responsibilities will be

Plan and execute initiatives to drive online sales growth on the Amazon platform in alignment with the E-Commerce Director.

This includes increasing conversion rates, maximizing revenue, and enhance Mexilink’s presence within the Amazon marketplace.

  • Oversee Mexilink’s presence on Amazon, ensuring an optimal user experience across all aspects of the online platform. This involves continuously monitoring and improving site navigation, product presentation, checkout processes, and customer service standards.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns on Amazon, focusing on key areas such as search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and sponsored product advertising.

Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely product listings, pricing, and inventory management on Amazon.

Coordinate efforts for new product launches and promotions specifically tailored for the Amazon platform.

Drive efforts to enhance the online customer experience on Amazon, aiming to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and ratings, implementing strategies to address any concerns and improve the overall shopping experience.

Utilize web analytics tools and platforms to track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) on Amazon, such as sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer behavior.

Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate performance and insights to stakeholders.

  • Lead and manage a team of e-commerce professionals specifically focused on Amazon operations. Foster collaboration with other departments, such as finance, IT, and operations, to ensure alignment and efficient execution of e-commerce initiatives on Amazon.
  • Stay informed about the latest e-commerce trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to Amazon.

Share insights and recommendations with the leadership team to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness within the Amazon marketplace.

Ensure compliance with all applicable e-commerce laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly within the Amazon ecosystem.

Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any potential risks or issues specific to Amazon.

Ensure that all e-commerce initiatives targeted at Amazon are launched on time and meet initial requirements, keeping teams and management informed of progress and any potential deviations from project schedules.

You should have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology or relevant field.
  • Minimum 5+ years in e-commerce experience.
  • English language fluency, Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficient understanding Amazon platform and its features, functionalities, and best practices.
  • Sound knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, email marketing, and affiliate marketing.

Understanding of key metrics, campaign optimization techniques, and marketing automation tools.

Familiarity with consumer behavior in the e-commerce space, including online shopping preferences, buying patterns, and decision-making processes.

Understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer segmentation.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms. Ability to extract actionable insights from data, perform A / B testing, and make data-driven decisions to optimize e-commerce performance.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems, supply chain processes, and logistics in an e-commerce environment. Understanding of demand forecasting, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities, address challenges, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Ability to optimize campaigns, manage budgets, and measure ROI.

Knowledge of SEO techniques, keyword research, and social media marketing strategies.

Strong project management skills to effectively plan, coordinate, and execute e-commerce initiatives. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Comfort with technology and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and platforms.
  • Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate a team of e-commerce professionals. Ability to delegate tasks, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Agility to adapt to the ever-changing e-commerce landscape, emerging technologies, and consumer preferences. Ability to embrace new ideas, experiment with innovative approaches, and continuously improve e-commerce operations.

Physical Demands

The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit;

use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
