Description
In this role you will perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical systems associated with production and facilities equipment at the manufacturing plant in Canandaigua.
Some specific responsibilities include :
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and make adjustments on production equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, gear boxes, bearings, belts, chains, rollers, pumps, etc.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.
- Perform simple machinist tasks.
- Fabricate and weld brackets, etc.
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, machines, etc
- Utilize computer-based inventory system for generating reports to locating spare parts.
- Perform Maintenance Connection day-by-day duties.
In order to be successful in this role, you should have troubleshooting and maintenance experience with Mechanical Systems (gears, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.).
