Job Description : Cell Therapy Analytical Development

As a Cell Therapy Innovation Scientist, you will develop innovative cell therapy manufacturing systems that will enable our customers to develop the therapies of tomorrow and make them accessible to all.
What will you do?
The Cell Therapy Innovation team is looking for an exceptional person who is proficient in cell therapy QC assay design and execution, with knowledge of T cell, NK cell, B, or other specific cell-type functional assays.

Responsibilities
Perform cell activation, transduction, proliferation, cytotoxicity, and signaling assays, as required.
Participate in development activities for new analytical development for human T / NK / iPSC cell therapy.
Working under senior scientist, drive innovation through development of Client analytical methods to understand biomarkers and cell product attributes
How will you get here?
Demonstrated experience with bioprocess development for cell therapy preferred.
Experience with analytical techniques.
Must have excellent organizational, attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to do what needs to be done in a dynamic environment
Strong biological background and experience with immune cells.
Education Requirements
BS in biological sciences - 1-2 years experience preferred.
Experience :
Experience in molecular and cell biology is required. Experience with cell therapy automation instruments / platforms is highly preferred.
Hands-on experience with assay development
Working experience in process development or manufacturing setting is highly desired.
Experience across the range of cell therapy QC and release assays required for pre-clinical and clinical cell therapies is preferred
Skills & Knowledge :
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment, meet deadlines, prioritize work across multiple projects.
Self-starter with strong work ethic.
Must have excellent organizational, attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills.
Anticipates needs and problems while creating solutions
Working Conditions :
Works in a laboratory environment. Is required to lift up to 40 lbs. May be required to stand for long periods of time while performing duties.
Must be able to work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials.
Comments for Suppliers : M-F 8am-5pm. OT when needed.
