- Kelly Services is looking for multiple Claims Representatives for a company located in Minneapolis, MN. Pay Rate : $20-$22 an hour, depending on previous experience*Hours : Monday to Friday (8 : 00am 4 : 30pm)*Job Duties : The focus of the position is to obtain maximum and appropriate reimbursement for all claims from the patients’ insurance companies.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate insurance claims to third party payers.- Carry out the rules of the payer / insurance company.
- Verify payments and adjustments are appropriately applied to patients’ accounts based on government, contract, or other regulations.
- Ensure appropriate follow up on all medical and dental accounts pending payments from all third-party payers.- Performs regular and consistent follow up, denial management, correction and / or reprocessing claims as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Utilize all resources available, including electronic inquiries to verify eligibility and claim status.- Audit accounts by verifying that reimbursement amounts are appropriate.
- Coordinate refunds, if appropriate.- Coordinate adjustments on patient accounts when necessary.- Submit claims appeals or resubmissions.
- Complete accurate payment posting of third-party payments on patient accounts.- Move balances from insurance responsibility to patient responsibility when appropriate.
- Review and resolve credit balances.*Requirements : High School Diploma or GED- 4+ years of office experience- Experience with medical billing, medical insurance, medical claims, medical data entry, and / or Explanations of Benefits (EOB)- Comfortable being on the phone and answering questions- Ability to work independently*Apply for immediate consideration! *#CB
