Maintenance Mechanic Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $24.06 - $34.59 an hour - Full Time, Nights. 36 hours a week Range includes night differential.
- $2.00 / hr for evening and weekend shifts. Boulder Community health is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic who performs necessary duties to maintain the physical plant and associated equipment of the hospital in good repair. Benefits :

- Trade / technical or vocational training is desired.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license.
- 3 years previous maintenance experience desired.
- Experience in a health care environment desired. Responsibilities
- Repairs leaking faucets and drains.
- Repairs diaphragm and float type toilets.
- Installs minor equipment, (i.e. pictures, mirrors, bulletin boards, soap dispensers)
- Performs minor repairs to hospital beds.
- Adjusts door closures.
- Changes filters in air handling units.
- Responsible for preventive maintenance in assigned area.
- Keeps records and logs of work performed.
- Performs minor electrical repairs.
- Performs urgent corrective, routing and requisitioned minor repairs Knowledge, Skill and Ability Knowledge of
- Heating, air conditioning (spot and central systems)
- Electrical equipment and systems.
- Fuel and steam systems.
- Plumbing systems.
- Use and maintenance of plant tools and equipment.
- Standard safety procedures.

- Read, comprehend, and interpret instructions obtained from blueprints, schematic diagrams and technical manuals.

- To perform mechanical repair using hand tools, powered equipment and mechanical / electrical testing devices.
