As a per diem, nonexempt, CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician at Forest View Hospital, you’ll assist in various pharmacy activities, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, and other duties not requiring the review of a pharmacist.

The majority of tasks and responsibilities are related to preparing, dispensing, and distributing medications. Other duties include maintaining patient records, and setting up, packaging, and labeling of medication doses.

You will perform job duties under minimal supervision within pharmacy standards, written procedures and guidelines, and state regulatory requirements.

You will be responsible for the accurate completion of daily activities and the follow through of tasks to ensure completion.

Schedule : This position will work up to 19 hours per week, providing coverage "as needed". This position will help cover weekend hours between 7 : 30am-3 : 00pm, in addition to vacation and holidays.

Required Qualifications :

High School Diploma or GED

Certified pharmacy technician with MI licensure

At least 1 year of prior experience as a pharmacy technician (hospital experience preferred)

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office

Hospital Requirements : (may be required)

PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months

MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity

• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
• Hep B3 Series (or declination)

Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1

• April 30
• COVID Vaccine-Full
