Gorman & Company is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to work with our team at several of our properties in Racine & Kenosha, WI.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will :

  • Satisfy service requests such as light electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, HVAC / PTAC maintenance, etc.
  • Prepare apartments for turnover, may include painting, appliance repair / replacement, plumbing, lock changes, etc.
  • Manage curb appeal by inspecting and cleaning grounds / buildings.
  • Assist with snow removal if needed.
  • Complete on-call emergency maintenance.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications :

  • Must have your own vehicle and a valid driver's license.
  • Previous maintenance experience required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience in servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing a variety of items such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, standard appliances and pool maintenance (if applicable).
  • Must be able to read work orders / service requests.
  • Good safety habits.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
