Job Description Summary

Leads the design, testing, installation, and maintenance of large-scale electronic equipment or machinery for use in manufacturing.

Applications are broad and varied, requiring inclusion of technical and business context and solving of non-routine problems.

Job Description

• Should be familiar with the model of the PLC involved in taking the measurements on all types of gages & the labels for the registers on that PLC for each of the measurements.
• Expertise in writing the logics so that it would grab the data from the probes and flip a signal bit to let IT application engineer know when the reading was finalized.

Application engineer would then take the reading & zero out that bit, which let control engineer’s side know it was ok to take the next measurement.

• Should be familiar with AIAG’s MSA (Measurement System Analysis)
• Ability to troubleshoot & take lead on all Fixture / Bench & in-process 100% auto gages related daily issues.
• Solid Knowledge & understanding of gaging software’s like Sterling Promeasure Gage Express .
• Ability to assemble all types of gages along with Solartron probes & write programs for new bench / Fixture gages if needed.
