The Data Scientist will support the Sponsor’s organization responsible for championing governance and quality. The organization is focused on improving efficiency and capabilities to build, deliver, and sustain IT Network solutions.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing the means for measuring and visually reporting real-time, or near real-time, data for quality assurance Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Service Level Objectives (SLO).

This will consist of working with multiple stakeholders in various groups to define, develop, and institutionalize strategic processes across multi-fabric information environments.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Develops means for measuring and visually reporting real-time, or near real time, data for quality assurance SLA / SLO compliances.
  • Works with tools such as Splunk, to gather network operations information and visualize that data to determine network health as well as system performance.
  • Works closely with Process Analysts to ensure processes are implemented in a measurable means and purposeful ways to further optimize processes with use of our workflow, automation or scripting tools.
  • Identifies opportunities to strengthen, streamline, or standardize the organization.
  • Leads workforce engagement and collaboration efforts.
  • Consolidates inputs from various partners and identifies challenges, inconsistencies, and gaps.
  • Conveys complex technical topics to individuals and groups with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Develops and presents complex technical documents, procedures, reports, and briefings.
  • Identifies gaps in capabilities and strategic needs in relation to the strategic direction.
  • Identifies opportunities for strengthening, streamlining, and standardizing process.

Candidate Qualifications :

  • Experience working with tools, such as Splunk, to pull information out and make it easily digestible.
  • Ability to review feedback to identify pain points and propose solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating across enterprise organizations at all levels.
  • Ability to translate requirements into end-to-end designs that involve multiple interfaces.
  • Able to translate complex technical terminology, concepts and issues in terms understandable to technical and non-technical management and resources staff.
  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience (3 years)) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline.
  • Active TS / SCI clearance with an FSP Polygraph required.
