Our client is a well established prestigious local law firm in San Francisco. They are seeking a Litigation Secretary with 5+ years of experience in general commercial litigation.
Salary up to 115K , with flexibility DOE. Hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote work. 35 hour week.
Summary :
The litigation secretary will perform advanced secretarial duties, prepare complex legal documents, maintain confidentiality, and have substantive knowledge of court procedures and trial preparations.
Responsibilities :
- Compose communications for clients and regulatory agencies, and create preliminary pleadings.
- Execute clerical tasks that demand procedural expertise and specialized vocabulary.
- Manage attorneys' schedules, travel plans, and client interactions.
- Handle mail, log attorney hours, prepare expense reports, coordinate meetings, suggest new procedures, and offer administrative support while leading the team.
Qualifications :
- 7+ years of litigation secretary experience in a mid to large size law firm.
- Possess expert knowledge in court procedures, proficiency in Microsoft Office and e-filing.
- Demonstrate a proactive, independent work style with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Exhibit exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to support the litigation team through efficient document handling, proofreading, and managing schedules, deadlines, and client interactions.
