Sr. Manager, Regulatory Compliance

Wise F&I delivers industry-leading administration services for automotive F&I-related, voluntary protection products such as VSC, Appearance, Tire & Wheel, Key Replacement, GAP and Theft-deterrent protection.
We process and adjust claims for these contracts within programs that are underwritten by only Excellent (A- or better) rated Insurance Carriers.
As a rapidly growing automotive F&I product provider with 35 years of continuous operation in the Automotive F&I space, our operating partners include seasoned Insurance Agents, national Lenders and their client Automotive Dealers.
Job Description : In this role you will be responsible for i.) managing the Company's form submission process to Lender(s) and / or Regulator Authorities as applicable;
and, ii.) maintaining all applicable State or Federal licensing or registrations for the Company and / or Company's personnel.
As a department head, the Sr. Manager, Regulatory Compliance will manage, oversee and supervise a team of subordinate personnel focused on the aforementioned responsibilities.
Additional responsibilities include directly managing Company's relationship(s) with State Regulators, Lenders and third-party compliance entities;
in addition to, providing ad-hoc troubleshooting support to other Company departments when requested. Occasional travel (< 10%) may be required.
Job Responsibilities / Tasks include :
- Manage the state regulator submission / approval process for company forms (consumer contracts), across all product programs
- Using the Company's CRM, develop, manage and maintain the Company's relationship(s) with applicable state regulator personnel
- Communicate any changes or additions to the list of state-approved approved forms to applicable Company personnel
- Manage and maintain the database of state form approvals including which states allowed for each form
- Manage the lender submission / approval process for company forms (consumer contracts), across all product programs
- Using the Company's CRM, develop, manage and maintain the Company's relationship(s) with applicable Lender personnel
- Communicate any changes or additions to the list of Lender approved forms to applicable Company personnel
- Manage and maintain the database of lender approvals including states allowed for each form
- Maintain all applicable State or Federal licensing / registrations for the Company, Company affiliates, and Company personnel
- Timely complete and submit annual reports and / or licensing or registration renewals with the various States
- Develop and maintain a database of all governmental departments where licensing for Company is required
- Using Company's CRM, track dept. contact information, licensing type & requirements and licensing status
Required Skills and Experience :
- Associates Degree (or higher) with a relevant major
- Experience with state insurance licensing and form filing management
- Strong communication and research skills
- Excellent observation and critical thinking abilities
- Microsoft Office familiarity including Outlook
