Harding Mazzotti, LLP, located in Albany, NY, is in search of a committed Paralegal to join our esteemed Worker's Compensation department.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to closely collaborate with seasoned attorneys specializing in Workers' Compensation law, acquiring valuable expertise to progress in your career.
Your role will be pivotal in supporting case preparation, maintaining client communications, and conducting legal research to secure the best possible outcomes for clients.

Compensation :
$37,500 - $45,000 yearly
Responsibilities :

- Electronic filing of claims and appeals
- Handle correspondence with claimants, medical offices, and agencies
- Extensive phone contact with agencies, clients, medical providers, and insurance companies
- Review incoming mail
- Prepare case for hearings
- Assist attorneys with post-hearing follow-up
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Strong knowledge of PC applications, Windows, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional phone etiquette and comfortable speaking on the phone
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
Preferred Experience
- Workers’ Compensation experience preferred
- Paralegal experience preferred
