Our client who is a leader in medical technology and software applications is seeking a dedicated Backend Java Engineer to join our team supporting their Online Store.
As a Backend Java Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our e-commerce solutions.
You will work mainly on back-end components, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Day to Day :
- Maintain scalable and robust web applications using Java and related technologies.
- Implement and customize e-commerce solutions on the Elastic Path platform.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with various front-end and third-party applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in the software development and e-commerce spaces.
- Knowledge of Java Message Service (JMS) concepts and their implementation.
- Participate in Agile / Scrum development processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

- Expertise in Elastic Path platform development and customization.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Solid understanding of back-end technologies including Java, Spring, Hibernate, and RESTful API development.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL & PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React
- Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
