We are seeking a QA Analyst for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on testing ATM software in a lab environment, ensuring the functionality of both software and hardware components for each release.
As a key member of the team, you will execute regression tests, identify, and document defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the quality of ATM applications.
Title : QA Analyst
Location : Charlotte, NC (Onsite) - Must be local to Charlotte, NC to be considered for this position.
Pay : $55-62 per hour
Duration : 12-month contract
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, document, and execute tests while troubleshooting issues to isolate and resolve problems.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts for Epics and Stories in an agile environment.
- Perform hands-on testing of ATM software on physical hardware in an onsite lab.
- Document testing results, reduce defects to their most concise steps, and ensure thorough documentation.
- Install software, condition data, and assess test environment issues.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve defects and issues.
Required Skills :
- Strong ability to plan, document, and execute tests, including troubleshooting and documenting defects with due diligence.
- Experience testing Epics and Stories within an agile framework, with a solid understanding of the tester's role in the agile process.
- Onsite testing experience in a lab environment, specifically on ATM hardware.
- Competence in reducing complex issues into concise documentation, including installations, data conditioning, and communicating test environment challenges.
- Bachelor's Degree (Required).
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant Testing Certification (Preferred).
Preferred Skills :
- Experience in hardware testing in a lab environment, with a curious and tenacious approach to problem-solving.
- Prior experience testing devices in a lab setting.
