As an Ocean Import Traffic Coordinator , you would be primarily responsible for tracking, tracing, and updating containers and shipments.
You will be a partner in our Ocean Import department developing and maintaining good relationships with carriers, truckers, customers, and warehouses.
Requirements :
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in the freight forwarding industry is required; preferably in an ocean operations role.
- Previous experience using the ERP system, CargoWise One, is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities :
- Track, trace, and update ocean import containers / shipments in CargoWise One, coordinating with internal and external partners as needed.
- Schedule truckers to pick up or deliver ocean containers according to customer instruction in a timely manner.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment disputes and service requirements.
- Communicate with internal partners including interdepartmental teams, branch offices, and oversea offices for container delivery status.
- Confidently handle issues such as re-scheduling of delivery status, terminal congestion, receiving and resolving warehouse unloading issues.
Salary :
$22-$28 / hour dependent on transferable experience and education level.
